Fun Fact:

If you’ve ever wondered why University of Missouri-Columbia is called “Mizzou”, this is a mystery apparently. It was used in the student quarterly as early as 1905. Another official story is if you were to say the college’s original initials, MSU, fast enough, it sounded like “Mizzou”. Either way, it’s a great college, and a great town.
